Vanilla cookies with Chocolate dipping Ganache  ingredients

  • 230g Butter, softened
  • 110g Caster sugar
  • 275g Plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract
  • 1 Block of chocolate
  • 300ml of thickened cream

Vanilla Cookie 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Cover two tray with baking paper. 2. Cream butter with electric beater. Beat until it is white and fluffy. 3.Sift flour into a bowl add creamed butter, sugar and vanilla extract. Mix together until it becomes a dough (don’t be afraid to get your hands in it) 4. Roll into small balls and place in a baking pan. Put into oven for 15 min untill brown around the edges but not in the centre

Dipping Ganache 1. Get a pot and fill it half way up with water and put stove on high 2. Put a glass bowl (that is bigger than the pot) on top of the pot. 3. Put chocolate in the bowl and stir until melted 4. Add cream (amount may vary depending on type of chocolate) add 1 table spoon and stir. Do this until the consistency of the chocolate is thick. pour into a cool bowl and put it in the fridge for 2 hrs.

Chef’s notes: Okay lets do this guys… TBH: I accidently  made the ganache a bit toooo.. well… runny. I kind of improvised it and put it in a bowl. I know it is kind of fail but at least 1. It tasted good 2. I’m being honest 3. Sometimes things don’t go the way you plan Still enjoy (((: <– triple chins from all the cookies
